Daito Ryu Aiki and Yanagi Hara Ju-Jitsu Provides traditional, Battle Field Martial Arts. The system encompasses traditional weaponry, empty hand techniques that include nerve point striking, trips, throws, locks, chokes, grappling and their counters. The execution of the techniques for the practitioner is soft and smooth like Tai Chi but for the opponent the results are hard and devastating. Master Linekin started taking Aiki Ju-Jitsu because the ideas and execution of the defenses are so compatible with Tai Chi. Master Linekin has been
training Yanagi Hara Ju-Jitsu founder with Renshi John Clodig for the last 8+ years.

Escrima is a deadly form of Filipino self-defense, which basically uses the garrote; usually rattan sticks as the main weapon and as extension of the hands to maximize reach and power. The bare hand (usually the left) is used as necessary support to the right hand in the absence of another stick or dagger. In other cases or styles, two sticks or swords are used. Otherwise empty hands may also be used as effectively as when there are weapons. However, the stick is said to travel ten times faster than the empty hand.

White Tiger Tai Chi Is taught at the Academy for a variety of reasons. For the martial artist the practical applications are taught. For others Tai Chi is an excellent way to relax and revitalize the system. At the Academy we teach the Doo family, the Yang family and Wu family Tai Chi. Our focus is on meditation, relaxation and stress reduction through the soft movements and special Tai Chi breathing. For martial artists Tai Chi teaches proper use of breath and Chi projection while doing self defense moves. The knowledge of how to relax and use your entire body when blocking or striking makes all moves devastating. Tai Chi also has push hands and two man Tai Chi. These movements help you to see Tai Chi applications while practicing with a partner.

Qigong (sometimes spelled Chi Kung), pronounced "chee-gung" literally Means "energy exercise" or "energy work". It is an ancient Chinese healing system similar to Tai Chi and Yoga, estimated to be 5,000 years old. It is the foundation of Tai Chi and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which includes acupuncture. TCM grew out of Qigong and believes blocked and stagnant chi leads to all pain and disease. Qigong facilitates the movement of Qi (chi= bio-electric or life force energy) throughout the body to increase vitality, strength and protection from external forces.
